Mennonite Stores and Other Businesses
 Below is a list of the most known stores owned by Mennonites.
Stores that are owned by Spanish Lookout Mennonites:
1. Caribbean Tires, with branches in Belmopan, Belize City and Orange Walk.
2.  Farmer's Trading Center, the country's second biggest retailer of hardware and grocery combined.
3.  Reimer's Feed Mill, a store that specializes in feed for poultry and other livestock but sells a variety of hardware and farm tools. Presently they have branches in Belmopan, Belize City, Orange Walk and San Ignacio.
4. Quality Poultry Products, Belize's biggest provider of processed and packaged raw poultry items.
5. Westrac, a store that sells automotive supplies as well as tractor and truck parts. Currently they have branches located in Belmopan, Belize City and Orange Walk.
6. Western Dairies, Belize's biggest and only provider of processed dairy products and a very popular ice cream parlor and pizza kitchen. Branches are located countrywide.
7. Universal Hardware, a hardware store and auto dealer, known for the popular Meilun brand of motorcycles they sell. They have a branch in Belize City.
8. Koop's Sheet Metal, the country's largest supplier of metal roofing and other metal works.
 Other big businesses in Spanish Lookout include Midwest Steel & Agro Supplies, Midway Convenience Store, Crossroad Farm Supplies, Reimer's Service Center, Belize Tire Depot, Excel Construction, Tracpac, Quality Feed Mill, and other smaller machine and welding shops, as well as numerous health food stores and 2 pharmacies and restaurants, also a meat packing plant that sells beef, pork, and sheep meat.
 Bel-Car is an import/export business that deals with cleaning, packing and shipping grain foods such as rice, beans, peas, milo, and corn.
 Friesen's Hatcheries is Spanish Lookout's agent that takes care of importing chicks and distributing them and also incubating and hatching eggs laid by local white breeding hens and turkeys.
 Country Foods is a community owned countrywide distributor of local farm raised goods, such as eggs, rice, beans, corn and live red hens.
 Not all the businesses are private. Farmer's Trading Center, Quality Poultry Products, and Western Dairies are owned by the community. The community also owns their diesel generators and electricity plant, which also provides some local villages but at a much lower rate than colony members.

Businesses owned by Blue Creek Mennonites:
1. Caribbean Chicken, Belize's second biggest processor of poultry products, with branches in most main towns.
2. Circle R, the country's main provider of various qualities of rice as well as other food grains.
3. Reinland Meats, a meat packing plant and slaughter house for cattle and pork.
4. RB's Multi Service, a hardware store with a branch in Orange Walk.
5. Circle R Hardware, a hardware store and licensed gun and ammunition dealer.
 The community also has its own hatchery, electricity plant, and dairy business.
Both colonies have their own established credit unions, and have privately owned lumber yards and house building companies, the 2 most popular being Linda Vista and Plett's Home Builder's both from Spanish Lookout. Glass shops are also located in the 2 colonies.
Interestingly, these 2 colonies cannot set up branch businesses in each other's lands, specially community owned businesses.
